Rheumatology is the study of immune-related illnesses of the musculoskeletal system, which includes joints, muscles, ligaments, and tendons. Systemic rheumatic illnesses are a group of disorders that affect your blood vessels, skin, nerves, and most internal organs. Rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, spondyloarthritis, crystalline arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus (lupus), and scleroderma are the most common disorders.
Some of the diseases are serious & difficult to diagnose and treat. Currently
practice in the field is based on research and mostly
evidence-based.
